Cost

What does a Lawyer cost?

A lawyer and their client are free to negotiate fees. The bill of costs is twofold. Firstly, the charge for the lawyer’s professional services in undertaking the client’s work. Secondly, you will be charged for disbursements (costs and expenses for your case), such as photocopying costs, long distance telephone charges, postage costs, expert report fees, a barrister’s court appearance fee (if instructed).

What does a Will cost?

The fees indicated below relate to Wills that are non-complex documents. The fees quoted are exclusive of GST. Should you require a Will that considers arrangements such as for split families, existing family trusts, large estates and estate planning, the cost will be higher. We charge on a negotiated fixed sum agreed by you or on an hourly rate.
